ICE-Capades
WARNING: Post 5 ICE–Capades.
ICE–capades, a.k.a., the Escapades of ICE and the Border Patrol in helping to bring destruction on the United States of America. Sort of a new variant for an Ice Age.
But it is not just the thugs in the streets but even more sinister is the fact that the very government we are supposed to be able to rely on for protection are even more culpable for the wrongs being committed by these two paramilitary organizations.
Even under Nixon, Reagan and both Bush’s have we ever been so close to political meltdown, anarchy and the potential implementation of Martial Law leading a dictatorship with Trump at the head of the serpent of destruction.
Both Hitler’s rise to power and Trump’s parallel each other in their similar use of force, mirroring one another in numerous and frightening ways.
In both instances the rise to power came at the direction those who held the power, utilizing their minions of thugs, hooligans, cowards and criminals among a long list of these types of purveyors of violence and hate.
When fights broke out, the Weimar Republic’s (Germany’s legal government at the time) police appeared powerless, with law and order usually restored by the SA. This enabled Hitler to claim that the Weimar regime lacked leadership and power, and that he was the person who could restore Germany to law and order.
Aside #1: Horst Wessel
Hum, sounds like what Trump is doing by having his paramilitary police start violence and then sending them in to “stabilize” the situation. Sure is nice when you can have your cake and eat it at the same time.
The gravest error the Third Reich made was to permit the shock troops, the thugs, to control the party and thus the nation.
Here in the United States Trump is hoping that by permitting the shock troops and thugs to control the the Conservative Agenda he will be able to take control of the United States.
When Hitler formed the SA in Munich in 1921, he drew its membership from violent anti-leftist and anti-democratic former soldiers in order to lend muscle to the young Nazi Party, using them like a private army to intimidate opponents. According to the Nuremberg Military Tribunal, the SA was a group composed in large part of ruffians and bullies.
I wonder if Trump or his writers have studied the comings and goings of the Nazis to learn how to be so well versed in ways to intimidate their opponents. I doubt it, none of them are literate or smart enough to look to history for examples.
Trump is using the same types of bullies to intimidate the entire country but with special attention to those least able to defend themselves, aliens. Another one of his misdirections and distractions to hide his real intentions. ICE and the Border Patrol represent the private army of the Trump Administration.
Many of the SA were former soldiers, upset with the way they had been treated after World War One. Germany’s defeat in the war had come as a surprise to the German people, which led to a theory that the brave German army had been ‘stabbed in the back’ by the politicians.
For the Conservatives today it is not from a war they see themselves as stabbed in the back but by the Left Wing of American politics who have deprived them of their God-given right to rule over those they see as inferior to themselves.
Many Germans hated the government for signing the armistice in November 1918 – and saw the government as the ‘November Criminals’. Hitler used this in many speeches to further turn people against the Weimar Republic Government.
Again, a parallel between Trump and Hitler. That is, it sounds similar to Trump Administration’s diatribes to place the blame on legal and illegal aliens as another of their numerous smoke-screening efforts to fool the general public into believing something that is not true is, in fact true.
I suppose it works on the MAGA types but rings false for those able to see through smokescreens.
Speaking politics in public was potentially a dangerous matter in the 1920s. The SA functioned as a ‘security’ force at Nazi rallies and meetings, using threats and outright violence to secure votes and overcome Hitler’s political enemies. They also marched in Nazi rallies and physically intimidated political opponents by breaking up their meetings.
Again, it seems Trump and his cronies learned from the Nazis. But only seems so. Trump and his goons are masters of political intimidation, manipulation, lying and a whole host of other devious methods.
As for securing votes, Trump and the Conservative Coalition are hard at work trying to deprive all those who oppose them will be unable to vote. If they fail then we may well see the November 2026 elections cancel: as I noted in Posts 1 and 2.
In Germany demonstrations were staged by the SA and the police paid handsomely not to interfere.
So far I haven’t heard any mention of the Trump Administration paying anyone not to interfere. This might be the only one of all these parallel incidents that the Trump Administration did not follow in the foot steps of the Nazis.
Hitler's diatribes were the rantings of a frightened man, driven to eliminate by murder the slightest opposition, as long as there were no consequences to himself.
There have already been 8 Murders so far since January 2026 at the hands of ICE and the Border Patrol. These are not murders of Trump’s political opponents but instead innocent citizens, the hand writing is on the wall: How many more before saner and more compassionate people will be in charge? With the insane pronouncements from Trump officials like Blondie Bondi, it is clear, at least to me, that we can expect much more in the way of murders of US citizens and noncitizens as well.
Hitler was a madman leading a growing band of psychopathic malcontents. Statements like, ”The time for diplomatic, even ethical, niceties are over!” Of course, I don’t know this is something Hitler thought but the statement does reflect how he might have seen the situation in Germany by the early 1930s.
Is Trump also a madman? If not he might just as well be. He is, if not a psychopath, he certainly is a sociopath with delusions of grandeur of his own self importance. Trumps psychological instability needs to be spelled out so I am including information relevant to his delusions.
Aside #2: Delusions of Grandeur.
I suspect other thoughts occurred to the Nazis in terms of taking control of Germany and its people like this one: Governments will change, new laws will be enacted that benefit the strongest, the purest, and within a few years the useless garbage, the dregs of society who suck us dry will be swept away.
Trump continues to harangue the country with his idiotic comments about how under his leadership America will be great again (sounds familiar) while cleansing America of the dregs of society; not just illegal aliens but the rest of those stupid enough to oppose him.
In the waning days of the 1930s the SA’s racial and religious hatred for those different from themselves, who thought differently and all of the other rubbish preached by the lunatics of the Third Reich, became terribly radicalized.
Today the Conservative Agenda will not allow for anything different, which helps them focus on their hatred of non-Conservatives.
Zealots who identify with a fanatic that makes them feel superior insofar as the cause is absolute and puts everyone else down–as in a master race.
The Conservative Agendas, our zealots, identify with Trump the fanatic, they see themselves as the new master race. Frightening!
Aside #1: Horst Wessel
Horst Wessel, martyr of the German Nazi movement, celebrated in the song Horst Wessel Lied in English is known as The Flag Raised High, and was adopted as an anthem by Nazi Germany.
A student and low-life bohemian joined Nazi Party in 1926 as a member of the SA (Storm Troopers). In 1930 political enemies, possibly Communists, killed him in a brawl in his room in the Berlin slums. Nazi propagandists, led by Joseph Goebbels, elevated him to martyrdom.
Joseph Goebbels was the minister of propaganda for the German Third Reich under Adolf Hitler. A master orator and propagandist, he is generally accounted responsible for presenting a favorable image of the Nazi regime to the German people. He was also the worst of the Nazis in unbridled hatred of the Jewish population. Tragically, he was the only Nazi with a real education graduating from Heidelberg University in 1922 with a doctorate in German philology (study of languages).
Following Hitler’s suicide, Goebbels served as chancellor of Germany for a single day before he and his wife, Magda Goebbels, had their six children poisoned and then took their own lives.
Aside #2: Delusions of grandeur.
A subtype of delusion characterized by the extraordinary belief that one is famous, omnipotent, wealthy, or otherwise very powerful or of a high status. Grandiose delusions often have a religious, science fictional, or supernatural theme. Examples include the extraordinary belief that one is a deity or celebrity, or that one possesses fantastical talents, accomplishments, or superpowers.
While non-delusional grandiose beliefs are somewhat common—occurring in at least 10% of the general population—and can influence a person's self-esteem, in some cases they may cause a person distress, in which case such beliefs may be clinically evaluated and diagnosed as a psychiatric disorder.
When studied as a psychiatric disorder in clinical settings, grandiose delusions have been found to commonly occur with other disorders, including in two-thirds of patients in a manic state or bipolar disorder, half of those with schizophrenia, patients with the grandiose subtype of delusional disorder, frequently as a comorbid condition in narcissistic personality disorder, and a substantial portion of those with substance abuse disorders.
