About Posts

Blog posts detail topics and issues relating to some of the most serious assaults on our supposedly free society, which we are well on the way to losing thanks to the Oligarchs and their jack-in-office Donald (Easy Money) Trump.

Posts will:

• Be presented by Topics and Issues, indicated by their specific content, and listed, numbered, and dated for future reference. This will be important once the number of Posts grows too large for simple memory to recall them; by Cross Referencing the Posts, it will be easier to track the many different Threads associated with and between Posts.

• Present a new topic or expand on ones already presented. In each case, sufficient information will be provided to indicate the subject matter for new posts or to indicate which previous posts the follow-up information is related to; in some cases, follow-up information will be relevant to more than one existing post.

• Shed light on many situations now affecting the American public.

• Delve into both historical and contemporary issues via two methods: Schisms and Parallels.

• Use Comparative Analysis when applicable, mainly between divergent and at times bitter tensions between divergent ideologies. Two obvious examples: Liberal versus Conservative, and Democrats versus Republicans. Both are in need of a reasoned comparative analysis, since Conservatives do not have the same ideas about what America encompasses as Liberals do.

Post Groups

In many instances, a number of Posts will be related and noted as Post Groups.

Critical Posts

Will be indicated by WARNINGS or ALERTS designed to emphasize the most serious situations that threaten the very survival of our country, our freedom of choice, and our pursuit of happiness, things the Oligarchs wish to deprive us of.

WARNINGS and ALERTS must be taken seriously.

Asides

Will be utilized to present additional and/or useful information related to a specific Post but where inclusion would make the content too unwieldy. Asides can be skipped without affecting the meaning or importance of the information. They appear below the final paragraph of each Post.

Other asides are intended to add some lighthearted comments, including sarcasm, irony, tongue-in-check comments, and the like. I have a lot of information of a serious nature to impart to you, my fellow citizens, but then, as the saying goes, 'all work and no play can make Jack a dull boy, or Jane a dull girl,' n'est-ce pas?
